Hey all,

Was approached the other day by a friend asking about getting on with one of the frac's, don't know which one, but anyway, he asked me what would be the effects of having a bankruptcy on his credit and the chances with the frac's. Some advise to tell him would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Dont scare me like that. I thought another carrier had just filed!!!

...i havent heard that the fracs even check an interviewee's credit record...but then, i havent asked either

Well I can tell him if he looking to get out of bankruptcy. The frax's aren't the way to go. The way the pay is and the length of time to the left seat. He may just have to file for bankruptcy again.

I guess what he wanted was to see if it would hurt his chances with getting hired with the frac's. The bankruptcy is already discharged. Two years ago.

Thanks

like i said, i dont think they even look at your credit report. although, even if they did, his being discharged years ago and him rebuilding (i assume) to a good standing will have little, if any negative effect ;)
