jesus christ....

The company owns five Socata planes like the one that crashed and there have been no problems with them, Sommers said.

Perhaps they meant that the company had five of these planes in the Atlanta area. You can usually see at least two on the ramp at Reading on a given day. I saw one down in Dulles on Saturday morning.

The TBM's have had a good record previous to this, and the pilots like flying them. I hope that this tragedy is an anomoly, and not a problem that will affect the fleet.

Prayers...

talk about going out in a ball of flames...good lord! Thoughts and prayers go out to him and family.

I have done some work with this company with mine, they seem to be very respectible, hope they find the cause.

god bless

Ditto on the prayers for Captain Anderson, his family, and loved ones, as well as his friends and coworkers.
Let's just pay our respects and try to avoid jumping to conclusions and making references to going out in a ball of fire or what not. This is a particularly disturbing tragedy.
Rest in peace Captain and Godspeed.

My prayers are with him and his family. Please be careful out there!
