Bad CHQ Crew in ROC...

Finished up in ROC. Holiday Inn Airport pick up...started to test the waters with the van driver about a ride to Dinosaurs BBQ (Hmmm...good! )

Van driver said "Nope! We took a crew there, telling them there was no guarantee for a pick up. Crew called for a p/u only to whine and insist van driver said he would p/u...." We said who was it? He said CHQ. We said, we ain't CHQ he said.....

No more Dinosaurs for flight crews in ROC......

One cry baby ruins it for all 100,000 airline pilots.... (over dramatized)

Hi, Don't know if this thread is designed to flame CHQ guys or not but given the benefit of the doubt here's what ya ought to do...

First off, are you still at the hotel tonight? If so go talk to the Manager and/or fill out a complaint form. Next, talk to your hotel comittee representative at your company. Often times van service to local restaurants are included in the negotiated rates for the crew rooms. Just a thought for ya. Otherwise you can always order in pizza

Dang that Dinousour is good stuff... you can get the sauce and the marinade online too!


(I like the typical cheap pilot part of the story though.... if the van drive won't take us for free, we're not going to caugh up the $20/2-3 crew that a cab would cost ... we'd rather starve!!!)
