Background checks for SWA poolies

I'm just curious, have any poolies been called in lately to have fingerprints done? It's been really quiet in that regard here lately with all the dismal reports et al. I thought that there was a requirement to have all background checks done for prospective employees by Dec. '02. Could someone please enlighten me. The silence is deafening!

I sent my update information about two ago. I spoke with LL last week to confirm they received it and get my monthly update. She said they had received it and not much new information on classes. I asked if there was anything else I needed to do and she said I would have to get fingerprinted at some point. I offerred BWI and she said just call her when I was available and she would set it up for me.

It is December 6 and all the regulated 121 carriers will be doing them as criminal history record checks by then. You do not have to have it until you fly so there is time from the time you get hired and many companies have had this set up./. Do not know about SWA but Spirit has 3 machines
