B737-200 training questions

Hi, im studying the B7373-200 systems and after that ill hit the Limitations and Procedures, and then the Quick Reference book, ill be doing th sim in Miami next month, i was wondering, can someone offer any tips on what happens when you get to the sim,what are the most important stuff youll need to know day 1, how does the sim procedure goes etc etc...the trtaining center is Aleiton Training or something similar, in Miami,
