or a B.S. in B.S.?

Does it matter if you get a B.S. or a B.A. degree to be an officer in the military? I want to go to FSU and get a degree in Media Production (College of Communication) and join ROTC.

Thanks,
Nick

Makes no difference. However, during competitive times they sometimes will lean toward engineering degrees.

what he said...just get a B-something. Hell in the Guard/Reserves you don't even need a decent gpa if you're a good stick and smoke the AFOQT. (2.4 here...)

The only time it's going to matter (on the fighter side of the house), is if you want to go to Test Pilot School. As I understand, they will only accept you if you have a degree in engineering/mathematics/something smart. I, like you, got my degree in communication; I have paid the price - I was forced to fly a Strike Eagle.

I went for the B.G.S. and most don't even know what the heck it is. I am wishing I would've stayed in the engineering now since Raytheon won't call....

I had the 2.8 as well.
