That's a heartbreaker on so many levels. Thank goodness nobody was injured or killed.

I take it there is no gear/flaps/slat indicators for the navs?

I thought our military had higher standards for giving out pilot slots? I have known some great guys that have gone through ROTC who have not been diagnosed with a brain disorder imparing ones ability to handle multiple tasks and to differentiate from right and left who have been denied pilot slots.
