AWAC leaving ORD?

In one of the ACA threads below it is mentioned that AWAC is pulling out of ORD in March. Are there any AWACees that can confirm or dispell this?

Also, can anyone at AWAC advise how many pilots you have on the DO328 and at what rate are they retraining them on the CRJ?

No, it just looks like there will be some gate-switching again at ORD in the future.

No AWAC isn't leaving ORD, in fact ORD and ATL (AirTran) are going to be growing with new A/C deliveries going to these bases.

The 80 or so crews left on the 328 should all but the last few be trained on the CRJ / 146 by June at the latest. Depends on if we unload the 328's earlier.
