...trying to nonrev my son FAT-PHX tomorrow 01 April on #2925 or 2701. The old reliable 1800 894-7277 automated system seems to have been changed to a hold for eternity wait for a live operator. Anyone out there have load access for these flights, or know what happened to the auotmated system... it used to work great!

Phone number

If you were an AW or US employee, you would know the number. If you are interlining, you'll just have to call reservations and all they will tell you are the number of non-revs listed on the flight, not the bookings.

I am not an AWA employee, just hoping one might help me out so that I could tell my ex wife what flight to try to get my son on tomorrow. The old 1 800 894 7277 number worked for years. I have spent over an hour on hold today trying to ask this question, but nothing but background musak so far. Thanks again from a fellow weary lineholder.

1st, I wouldn't post ANY phone numbers on this website... unless it's Daiquiri Doug's cell phone.

2nd, if you were an employee (knew an employee), hence had non rev privilages, you would know how to check loads... online.;)

Call you supervisor for details.

I have been having trouble listing on the other number. No one seems to answer. Are they still having trouble with the Res system. My neighbor is a retired F/A from airways. She just took her family out to the airport, got there two hours early and they could not figure out how to get her a boarding pass. They did not get on and came home. The airplane left with empty seats. That is pretty bad.

The phone system no longer lets you list. You can check loads still but when you want to list it just transfers you and you sit on hold for ever. For now, it's The Hub or nothing.

And the crazy thing is that this is NOT new info. The HUB has been THE way to list now for months.

Uh... I was able to list on the phone system until a few days before the res system migration. Kirby (I think) said they didn't realize how many people used the phone system and that it was going to be at least 6 weeks before IT was going to be able to bring it back online interfaced with shares.

What about leaving people behind because they cant figure out how to print a boarding pass. I jumpseat on airways all the time but have been a nervous nelly since the res change. I tried it once since the change and they could not print me a boarding pass. The agent knew me and put me on anyway. He said he would figure it out after they closed the flight.

If jumpseating in "the new USAirways", do your best to meet and greet the Captain or FO so they know you are there. The agents have to do a few xtra steps to get a JS listed. If they are running behind they may leave you. The pilots have been told (by ALPA) to check the boarding area before they push to make sure no one is left behind. But your best bet is to introduce yourself to one of the pilots if you see them get off the plane. That way at least they know you are there.
