Anybody use non company issued pants? Any brand suggestions? I think southwest has the same navy color, so any and all feel to chime in.

Just go to a Men's Warehouse or JC Penney's-- with your pants to match; you'll usually save about $30-40 per pair and find a solid match...

Costco carries an Italian wool slack that costs $40. They look much nicer than the polyester pants. The downside is they are supposed to be drycleaned. Go check them out.

Levi's Travelers, Dockers Premium, and Hagars all work. Get close but don't obsess about perfectly matching the colors. I've worn the exactly correct uniform pants and they still don't match the blazer perfectly. From USAir Express to TWA to AA to AWA the navy blue has been the same/close enough.

Whatever I can find at Macy's or similar works for me, too. We wear the standard U navy, and finding a match or close enough isn't hard. I do keep one pair of "official" M&H pants in the closet, but they don't match my jacket any closer than the department store pants. The M&H pants are $65, while the ones from the department store are usually around $40. Better yet, the bigger savings come every week: The department store pants go in my washer rather than needing a trip to the cleaners..
