A $50 savings bond issued to you after you accumulate 5000 points..for a pilot of a small jet, that's about $100 per year.

If you really do your homework before you depart, they have coupons where they give double to quadruple points. I just did a flight out to Front Range, Co. They were nice enough to give me quadruple points for 600 gals. Enough for the $50 bond.

You need to buy fuel anyway, why not hand in the avtrip card and get something.

Thanks for the info. Kinda like a Marriott Rewards card...'cept the rewards aren't quite as cool. Does anybody know of any other similar programs at FBOs?

There are a bunch of fuel incentives.

APEX- Aviation Points Exchange Ltd.
Atlantic Aviation gives $5 tickets
Mercury Aviation gives steak bucks. Good towards Omaha Steaks catalog
Flower Aviation gives one steak per 200 gallons fuel or one bottle of wine.

Probably a couple more can't remember

English, you can do better than that;), just have to shop around a little:)! My kids routinely get about $500 a year in savings bonds from "uncle avtrip".

You really have to keep an eye out for those quad points though!

Yeah <sigh> I just had little flexibility in picking FBOs. I did try to work it, tho...
