I am co-hosting an aviation themed HD TV show called The Flightline. We premier this Saturday on Discovery's Velocity Channel.

Clearly I hope you watch, but I am more importantly looking for feedback and ideas for the show. We are not a pilot show but I think it is critical that we remain legit in the eyes of this core group. I am looking at how to display the value of Fracs to the public and have not had much traction with their marketing arms. If you have feedback or ideas let me know at [email protected]

To find Velocity on your TV you can go to our website and use a channel finder in the lower right corner. www.flightline.tv

I am posting this in several Flightinfo sub forums to get a cross section of feedback and ideas. Thanks in advance and I hope you enjoy the show.

I think the problem with gaining traction with Fractionals is that they really have a specific (and very small) client group that most likely watches the Bloomberg Network vs. Discovery Velocity. Places like Netjets target individuals with somewhere in the ballpark of $50 million networth as they're starting point.... Also those owners join fractionals for many reasons, but one being privacy.

So they (fracs.) have no real need or desire to worry about any publicity (or marketing advancements) that may be gained by taking the time to offer anything substantial for your show.... Now if you were CNBC or Bloomberg I'd bet they would be more than forthcoming

In my unprofessional and very uneducated television producing experience:beer: I would think maybe attempting to talk with the actual owners of these fractional shares may help. They may not be able to speak on behalf of the fractionals themselves but they could give a view into how fractional ownership operates? And how it enhances their lives...

I've never once corrected a grammar mistake... but I'm gonna go out and "through" a baseball... And after that I think I'll walk "throw" a door

Through in some NetJets bashing and we'll all watch

I read somewhere in the FARs that you have to be a high school graduate to hold an ATPL!!
