Hi out there! Anyone know some good aviation job sites that are free? I check the AOPA one often and a few others. I'm mainly interested in finding an instructor job. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.

instructing in the Buckeye State

There are many flight schools in Ohio you could try. American Flyers at BKL, Kent State, OU, Sporty's in Cincinnati, OSU. Not to mention that every county has an airport and many have some kind of FBO. I think most of the college flight schools hire from within.
Good Luck.

Don't bother crossing the boarder to your north (Michigan)
CFI jobs are tough to find up here =(

my reply

The best way that I have found is to go to airnav.com , pick your airport of choice,. look at who is there most of the info you will be looking for is there. Best of luck to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Check out PilotPointer.com

It is a free web site and it has just about any aviation resource you can find. Tons of job web sites on there too. Highly recommended!

Best Regards,
Nick

Thanks. I'm going to check out the PilotPointer website thingy. Airnav is pretty slick too. Lately, I've been choosing a state and just sending an email to every decent looking airport with a flight school. No luck so far, but we'll see. BTW this AOPA site has flight schools indexed by state with contact info.
