Any of you guys know where do I go to find one?
I do not attend an Aviation related college.
Thanks a lot.

Sorry, but your not going to be able to get one unless you are in a full time college that offers an aviation degree, have a 3.0, and have your Commercial Instrument, Multi-Engine. It kinda sucks I know, but all of the airlines have specific colleges they hire interns from.

If you are interested in a particular internship or airline you may check with your college for information (someone should know how to find out the specs on an internship) or the actual airline itself.

Just because your studies are not aerospace that doesnt mean there may not be an internship for you. There may be an intern postion related to your field of studies.

Best of luck.

oh ye i guess i could just talk the career counselors in my school about it

This statement is completely inaccurate. Each airline has its own requirements...specifically, SWA. Southwest does not require any of that to apply. It may be beneficial to have the above qualifications, but they are not required. Check it out on southwest.com

You do NOT have to be in an aviation college to intern. It helps, because the programs are all set up and all you do is fill in an application, and the school takes care of the rest. Next thing you do is show up.

I know of people who have set up their own internship programs with corporate departments, and overseas airlines!

Log onto the regionals ASA and ACA had their own programs flexible with your semester that you can apply for. Cargo airlines like FedEx and UPS offer internships also that can last as much as a year (UPS). Log onto the company's website and do a little research. Sometimes calling an HR/Recruitment number will help.

thnx a lot
