I'm trying to get a feel for new student enrollments for the first part of this year. Those of you enrolled at the larger academies (DCA, PanAm, FSA, RAA, Sparten, Sierra, American Flyers, etc), would you please respond and just state the name of the academy you have knowledge of and whether new student enrollments are up or down currently compared to last year at this time?

down....students are having a tougher time getting loans. The loan companies must have just figured out that it is impossible to pay off with starting pilot salary.

Way down at Spartan this year compared to last year. They just lost their contracts with several Chinese airlines. Now there are only American students enrolled, well mostly Americans. Spartan also laid off 10 flight instructors a week before Christmas. Its still a good school and I would recommend it.

Thanks FOD - what school though?
