Just wondering what things are like there. I have an opportunity to interview. I have done some research and seen what is on here. I am currently at a regional as a captain based at home. Would move to my new base. For those that are there what do you guys think? Thanks

Do a search. You're a regional captain? Dont be stupid man

Maybe I missed something but you said you are a regional captain. That requires an ATP and 1500 hrs. Your profile says you have 1450. Something is amiss.

Glad you are concerned with my time. Thanks for answering my question. I have not been here in a while and have not updated. I have the time don't worry. Thanks again now I know why I don't come here that often.

I'm a former regional captain. I've been here over two years and I still like it. I'm treated much better here than I ever was treated at the regionals.

Just wait till they start treating you like us at FLOPS, it will happen..None of us are safe except NJ

Would you say that flying for Avantair is "regional-like" in that you can do a lot of short hops every day and not many flights lasting 3+ hours in the P180? 3+ hours in an Avanti would not be comfortable anyway... Obviously you can fly anywhere vs. on a set regional route structure and that is a huge benefit in my mind.

Let's see, this week:

TVC-JAC 3.8
CAD-EGE 3.6
YIP-FLAGSTAFF 3.9

You're right, though, my A$$ expires at 2.5!

Wow - that's pretty fast for a turboprop. That's some nice variety though - Flagstaff is a pretty nice place in the pines. Those P180s are pretty impressive. Yeah, my arse aches after 2 hours in the Emb Jet too.
