Today I saw what looked like a Premier Jet operating for Avantair at KPHX. I thought I read that they were so maintenance intensive that they were returned to wherever they came from originally. So, evidently they are back for now.
Any plans for more of those in the future? I am sure Raytheon would love a big order given that FLOPS will probably never add them to its fleet as originally planned with Travelair. I'll bet that these are leased cheap from Raytheon to demonstrate their "versatility" when they are not broken...
How many do you currently have? Who gets to fly them now - I would assume some of the senior pilots? Any word on how well they perform when they are not in the shop? How do the pax like them vs. the Avanti?
