What questions should one be prepared for on the telephone screening ?

What are you doing now? Why do you want to come here? What do you know about Avantair? What do you know about the Piaggio? Will you live near one of our gate ways? (SFO, DIA, LAX, PHX, ORD, EWR, DAL. A few more but can't remember) Are you looking to go to another company? What have you been flying? Do you have international experience? Do you have turbine experience? Do you have turbine PIC experience? Are you someone I can get along with for a week or two? Will you handle bags and empty a lav?

That's about the scope of it.

No doubt due to the impending Avanti II deliveries with the Pro Line 21 systems up front. That will make a great airplane even better - and easier to fly...

Yes, their HQ is in FL. They are trying to get pilots more evenly based around the country. Right now we have too many pilots in Florida and it is difficult to do crew swaps on the other side of the country with so many people in the Southeast. Until we are even spread out, they won't hire into areas where we are heavy on pilots.

I sent an email to ep she said yes, they are hiring into STL. It is a prefered gateway at this time.
