We are running an operation out in West Texas and have been using 122.85 to communicate on. We transmit from our A/C to a telepatch which then sends the signal via phone line to our main office where they can talk to us on the phone. Our problem is that we are getting a lot of interference from CTAF's in the area that use 122.8. Are there any other frequencies that are available to use for open communication (we don't care who hears it) without interfering with CTAF or other frequencies that are needed? Thanks.

i thought those were reserved for air to air? 22.75 and 22.85

We have tried both 22.75 and 22.85 and they both are interfering with the CTAF 122.8. Therefore, we need another freq.

Contact the FSDO and they can setup an LOA for a specific frequency for your company.

Could be localized interference created by the transmitter- do you have two antennas near each other (one monitoring CTAF, the other the atg freq)?
