I am interested in moving to Austin Texas and am wondering what type of jobs may be available in this area. Any suggestions? I currently live in Los Angeles so would love to here about any possible positions there as well. I will fly anything but am hoping for the best. Thanks

Austin Operators

Hey Masterplan,
I don't know if you've looked at Berry Aviation, but they are a cargo and charter co. based in San Marcos, TX. San Marcos is about 20-25 minutes south of Austin. I knew some guys that went there several years ago, but I'm not sure of the situation there now. Maybe someone else would have the latest info. I think they have some Metroliners, Merlins, a Lear 55, and some Caravans last I heard. http://www.berryair.com/
I also know that there are several fairly large flight schools in the Austin area. You should be able to find them on the Be A Pilot website.http://www.beapilot.com/
Austin is a great town with a very casual, laid back, but trendy lifestyle. Hope this helps. Good Luck!
