More pretty girls on campus that Embry Riddle, Purdue, or UND. I was a CFI back there in 1987, but I'm sure things have changed tremendously. There may be better "flying" programs out there, but going to AU is a wonderful experience. Visit the campus, meet the folks, and then make your decision. There are some pretty good other majors there too, so if you decide to pursue a business or engineering degree WHILE you get your flight training you can do that too. The various ROTC programs are also there to help fund your education and provide a job afterwards if serving your country a few years might be up your alley...
graduated in '01 from the AM program down there. Not a single regret about it. By far one of the best experiences I've ever had. Like any other school you might have your occassional WTF's but they are few and far between. Nothing Like 82000 crazy fans in Jordan-Hare in the fall. And oh yeah, nothing like beautiful southern gals in the spring time either!!

I went to Auburn as well from 1991-1995. Opted out of the Aviation Management program and got a different degree while I finished my flight training.
It worked well for me. Went from a CFI in 1995 to getting hired at 2 Major's in 2000.
Had some great times down there on the plains. Why anyone would want to go to ERAU is beyond me. Spend one weekend down at Auburn and you will see what I mean.
just graduated in 05' just. Hot girls as far as the eye can see. But if you go there, you got to want to fly with all that you have. Flying on top of regular classes on top of tail chasing leaves very little time for free time. Just be ready to get up at 0800 on a sat to do a lesson. If you are cool with that, then you are golden. I found that I had crammed so much into my life that I hated it at times. Plus right after I left they just bought a bunch of new 172's<-Damn .......And that comment about jordan-hare could not be more true!!!! -WAR DAMN EAGLE
