I was recently displaced as an ATR captain to Saab captain. I was making $51/hr in my 4th year as an ATR Captain. At Eagle, we get an extra $7 for flying the ATR-72 (Captains only). Tops out at a whopping $68.30/hr at 18yrs. FO's start at $20.24 1st year, and top-out at $31.55 at year #8.
Hope this helps.
Your ATR Captain pay tops out about where our RJ Captain's does. Pathetic. Our sucky pay scales max out at $87 for an 18-year RJ CA!!!!!!!!
You guys hiring Captains?
Actually, the ATR and CRJ payscale are the same at ASA. Everybody makes the same the first year. The Brasilia is on a lower payscale ($45.70 for 3rd year Captain). The 70 seat RJ will also have a seperate payscale. Contract negotiations will be interesting come September.
At Continental Express, ATR captain pay is as follows:
ATR-72
Year 1 - $47.42
Year 2 - $51.06
Year 3 - $52.26
Year 5 - $54.70
Year 7 - $57.12
ATR-42
Year 1 - $42.42
Year 2 - $46.06
Year 3 - $47.26
Year 5 - $49.70
Year 7 - $52.12
COEX has retired the ATR-72 fleet. I added the pay scale just for comparison to the other ATR-72 operators. The pay rates become ammendable in October 2002.
