I am developing an ATP training profile and wood like constructive criticism relative to logical flow (conservation of training time) and if I've missed any ATP PTS requirements.
Thanks,
ATP Training Requirements
- Normal and Crosswind Takeoffs
- Instrument Take Off (ceiling 100' AGL)
- Rejected takeoff (<50% VMC (40mph))
- Engine Failure on Takeoff (Critical engine at or above 500')
- Departure Procedures (Simulate or ATC assigned)
- Steep Turns (Instrument Conditions above 3000', 45 degrees, +- 100', +- 10 MPH, +- 10 degrees roll-out
- Approaches to Stalls (Instrument Conditions, T/O and Ldg and Clean configurations to first indication, 1 with 15-30 bank)
- Powerplant Failure (Shut down and feather above 3000', +- 100', +- 10degrees
- Recovery From Unusual Attitudes
Instrument Procedures
- STAR
- Holding +- 10, +- 100
- Precision Approach (2-S/E and M/E, +-10, +-100, <1/4 needle deflection past FAF)
- Non-Precisioin ( 2 different (ie LOC, VOR) one with procedure turn)
- Circling Approach (-0, + 100')
- Missed Approach (2 precision and non-precision, with one S/E go-around and one complete published missed approach)
Landings
- Normal and Crosswind
- Landing from a precision approach
- S/E landing
- Landing from a circling approach
- Rejected Landing at 50' AGL (630' MSL)
- Landing from No-Flap or non standard flap approach
Emergency Procedures: Emergency descent, smoke, electrical, etc.
ATP FLOW
- Takeoff with rejection below 40 mph
- Instrument Departure (foggles at 100')
- Departure Procedure (Bowie 3 with Three Rivers Transition, IR)
- Approaches to stalls (IR)
- Recovery from Unusual Attitudes (IR)
- Steep Turns (IR)
- Emergency Gear
- Shut Down Engine and Feather
- Emergency Descent
- STAR
- ILS SAT or SKF with Landing (or missed)
- ILS SAT or SKF Single Engine with go-around
- LOC SAT or SKF (Missed)
- VOR SSF (Published Missed)
- Holding at SSF
- VOR SSF circle to land
- Normal Take-Off
- Rejected Landing at 50'
- Crosswind Landing
- Normal Take-off
- Single Engine Landing
- Normal takeoff
- No-Flap Landing
