doesn't say MEL, just says ATP. Go out and get your SEL APT in a C-172, that will certainly raise the level of experience in the cockpit

I would think you guys would be all FOR any effort to raise the intellectual requirements to get a job as an airline pilot.....

You do realize that making it harder to be an airline pilot will help the pay go up....

When I first started out in this business I had an APT. It was on the second floor. It was okay, except sometimes the neighbors got a little noisy.

but was it a SEL APR?

So current FO's will be canned and replaced by new FO's that went to a puppy mill ATP school?
Awesome!

Second sentence:

statutory requirement for all pilot
flightcrew members to have or obtain an appropriate ATP certificate by August 2, 2013
