Anyone have any recommendations??? I want to put some more gloss on that resume and am looking for something on the west coast. I checked out Bill Phelps Airline Ground Schools ATP testing schedule, but there are no dates listed for their courses. (I have inquired- waiting)

Any experiences? Recommendations?

Thanks
:D

It's been a while, but talk to Dick Pietro at Lone Eagle in Scottsdale, AZ. I did my ATP, and later my FEX, with them and was very impressed. The instructors are great and so is Dick and his wife. The prices were fairly comprable to others as I recall. I believe this is their website: www.loneeagleseminars.com
Good luck.

Bill Phelps

I second Bill Phelps if you can somehow work it out on your schedule.

I took my ATP written and FEX written with his program in Phoenix fourteen years ago. An extremely fine British gentleman who was a retired British Airways PFE taught the course. This gentleman already had been teaching these courses for years independently. I spoke with him before I signed up and told him I had only lightplane experience. He promised to slow down as necessary. He was such a good teacher that I picked up everything and he didn't need to slow down! I crammed in my motel room on the Monday after the courses, took the writtens on Tuesday, and scored over 90 on both.

Hope that helps.

ALL ATPs

If you want to take the exam very quickly and in as little time as possible, I definetly recommend the test prep at ALL ATPs. I did it last summer. Went in at 8am, out at 6pm with my written completed. No prior studying. It was $250 at the time, but I think its something ilke $299 now.

You won't walk out learning a lot, but you will have the test completed in one day. Well worth it in my opinion.

Good luck!
