I recently heard that the question bank for the ATP exam is being changed. Some questions that will be on the actual exam will not be in the study guides ie: Glein ASA etc. They will be the same type of questions just different format, different values and answers. Any truth to all of this? Any info will be appreciated.

Thanks

All of the knowledge exams have approximately 10% of questions revised or replaced periodically. Because this testing is a function of the government, all of the questions will be published and be available to the public. Commercial vendors such as Gleim then provide the answers and explanations to the exam questions and sell them as study guides.

Hope this helps.

I read that the FAA is still giving out the questions, but that the answers on the test will not be in the same order that they are in your study guide.

MBW,

Hows the new job going.

They are merely changing the order of the choices and the calculation problems are with different numbers. So you actually have to figure out how to solve them rather than just remembering the answer. Hey hope everything is going well in NC!!

That would suck. Thank god I already have my ATP. You could be there for hours working those problems.

thanks for the info ,
NC job is going well, hopefully I'll get into a twin in the next couple of weeks. so much better that flight instruction!
