Hiring?

We've only been told that there will be some hiring this year, not sure when. Keep those resumes coming in!

currently the most junior base is stn and if you get hired, right now it looks like a bout 7-8 years to get out of stn.

no gateway, no travel bank, no hotel, no help.

sound good? yeah ******************** them!!!

Plan on being out 38 to 40 days in a row on a regular basis.

Disregard this one. Only if you bid it that way, does it happen at all. Outbases and bidding end of month into first of month are the only ways you end up out that long. Some guys based in STN chose to do it that way, but it isn't forced on them.

your right, 34 days is not the norm, but you can reasonably expect to be out for 20-21 days due to commuting issues. oh and also you have to do training in london for recurrent on your own dime, and you'll get bumped off company aircraft for people who have gateway (you wont) but dont want to pay taxes on the ticket. and youll get to listen to how great peoples "past lives were" and so on and so on.

welcome to the family.
