I am very fortunate to have been offered a June 13 class date for the 744/STN. Could someone who is STN-based please explain the following:
1. Will I be issued a work permit for the EU/UK?
2. What are the tax implications of commuting from the US versus establishing a residence in the UK (or another European city)?
3. My understanding is the 744 doesn't actually fly out of STN (i.e. you are sent commercial to AMS/FRA etc). Will the company commercial you from another european city?
4. With PBS, how successful are the US commuters at achieving 17 ON/13 OFF? What are the schedules like for non-commuters?
5. How long is it currently taking to hold a bid back to the US?
