Atlas to SYD

Atlas is your best bet, I don't think HAL goes from HNL to SYD, we (Atlas) operate as QF out of HNL to SYD.

Already got it... How is the ride on Atlas? Would I be better off in coach on QANTAS or HAL?

Well the jumpseat is out on Qantas - you could get an ID90 or Zed on them. In general you can only jumpseat as we know it on US carriers.

HAL does have a flight from HNL to Syd so they would be a good option. I haven't been on ATLAS but have heard good things from guys who have used them.

Thanks, I understand the deal... I've ID90'd on QANTAS a few times, and jumped on HAL before but wanted to know if Atlas would be more comfortable... Coach for 15 hours is taking it's toll on me.

I have used Atlas to Jumpseat before and they are by far, better than any ride you will have in coach on any airline. I just started a new job in Japan and I read the atlas JS rules on the link you posted... I know it is a long shot, but would Atlas take guys from a foreign carrier?

No choice.....

Absolutely no comparison....

Atlas will be your best bet. The crews are outstanding, they feed you and you'll either have a bunk or business class seat to sleep in. I do the US to Oz trip every year and it's a lot less stressful on Atlas. It's just a pity they come back from Oz via China, which means I have to use UAL and the station staff in Syd are a pain.

I do get a few zeds on QF just in case but be aware that QF have black out dates over Xmas and the new year for all intl staff travel, so you'll have to call them to check.
