Does anyone know of any source that tells where and if you need HF radio on the atlantic routes (i.e. if a route is from ILM to MIA and you are on the AR's do you need HF radio) I understand Bermuda and points further east require it but what about on a north-south basis?

thanks

The AR routes have VHF coverage so no HF is needed.

Make sure you are overwater equipped though. Vests and rafts as needed by the FAR's you are operating under.
