i just saw an ad for a pilot with atlantic aviation on a job board. new haven is where it is . so i figured ok let me see what it is about........ i go to the atlantic aviation website....... requirement for captain is 3500 multi....6000 total i think anyway i thought a little high but whatever.... so i figure ok i will fill out the application........so this is why the post............ before you can apply they want 38.00 so they can give you a psych eval.............. unbelievable............ part135 charter charging for a psych eval, really high minimums,................ i dont think they are that good are they?

Cuz the owner wants it

Prolly cuz the owner wants it. You have to be an aviation extremist, and to get along with the captain who i hear is a wackadoodle too.

The secret is once you get the job they dont pay you. You pay them cuz its a jet and its charter. What an opportunity!

Tx.

wackadoodle captains are not rare at Atlantic Aviation.

beware.

Wackadoodle Captains? Never flown a Whackadoodle, but have about a thousand in a Whatsamajig.

H25B,
Is your avatar the 55C for sale in SRQ? One of my owners is thinking of getting a larger cabin A/C.

No it's one of my company's aircraft..

We just got it a couple months ago. Learjet 31A It's a beautiful aircraft, we just need to repaint it since the boss cringes every time he boards it.

Alright, I changed my avatar. Aviation related stuff was getting boring.

i can vouch there was a wackadoodle captain, but he left this job.

the owner is a nice person but he has very demanding requests of how much his aircraft is to be used.

the pay was decent.

Thank you, with any luck she won't want to fly for a living. She's way smarter than me so I feel this would be a waste of talent.

I have the same thought every time my 2yo screams "airplane!!!!" as one passes over our house. If I'm gone on a trip she adds "daddy" to the exclamation.

Mama's don't let your babies grow up to be pilots......

My 5 year old Daughter wants to be a pilot, but she also wants to be a lawyer, ballerina, soccer player, singer, and an artist. Hopefully the lawyer in her will win out.

Anyone know the schedule or pay over there?
