Figured this is a good place to ask since it is the supposed ASA board. Do you guys still board flights with the covered blue walkways on D or has it gone to jetways?

Jetways except for the last few on the north end of D. The contractor was fired, so things are at a standstill.

Latest I heard, the contractor that was installing the bag elevators was fired, but everything else is on schedule for complete jet bridge installation by end of April. No more walkways. 737s, A319/320, and DC9 operations on C and D now started to relieve congestion on A,B gates during jetbridge upgrades to accommodate 757 winglet equipped aircraft.

They really have done an excellent job in a very short time. It is really nice. The passengers mostly don't know they are flying on an RJ until right at boarding the aircraft. There's really very little to complain about in ATL regarding passenger handling anymore, except the renowned "southern hospitality" of some gate agents, and I think they are working on that problem.

No Saab parking thank goodness. I don't know where those POS aircraft will go, hopefully the boneyard or razor blades.

Heard that all this cost a cool million per bridge, and they never got the bag elevators to work on D. Go figure!

Has taken a lot of pressure off the crews during aircraft swaps for sure.

Very good upgarde to hear about. When the mainline flights park on C/D where are the RJs displaced too?
