Anybody got ANY leads on corporate jobs in Atlanta??? Ive got plenty of Lear PIC time, international/domestic experience but translating that into a REAL job is very challenging these days. Ive done the search thing and have shot resumes out to the usual suspects but no luck so far. How bout any lesser known flight departments??? Anybody? Bueller???...Bueller???

Johnny-

Did you ever find any leads on other lesser known companies in Atlanta? I am not brazen enough to say I am in the same boat as you, but I strongly desire to transition out of charter and hopefully out of south Florida at some point in my career (hard to believe right?).

As always, I would love any advice, comments, questions, quips, or concerns.

Lot's of Lears around Atlanta, it is that kind of place. Have you tried Phoenix Air in Cartersville, GA? How about Georgia Pacific (they go through a lot of pilots, but I understand that their new CP will be a retired DAL pilot, so they will probably only hire retired DAL pilots in the near future). Rooms to Go Furniture has a lear over at PDK, those are the only ones that I know of.

I really doubt that any CP worth his salt would only hire from his past association. In this case it's unlikey that he would find a boat load of currrent Lear pilots in those pilots who have recently retired from Delta, IMHO at least.

southFL,

never had any luck myself but there certainly is a lot of opportunity in the ATL. My advice, keep your resume current AND more importantly keep your resume in your FLIGHT BAG AT ALL TIMES !!!;) You never know when your gonna get a chance to hand one out on the road.

Good luck,

Johnny
