I can't speak for katanabob, but I use Dr. Kauffman and recommended him in this thread. He accepts my insurance and his office files the claim. They show it as a "routine physical". I only pay the $10 co-pay. I'm guessing the same applied to katanabob.

hmm.. maybe it was a copay. I know that insurance has never covered a medical before, but maybe he does file it as a physical or something. they said '$15', I asked them if they were sure, and I paid/ran before they changed their mind.

it takes forever to find a good avatar..

Co pay no longer good at Kauffman's

Supposedly ASA (UHC) insurance will pay for the medical exam, you just have to send in the paper work yourself and cough up the $145 (no ekg) at the office.

Still a quick and painless visit with a nice guy.

I hope I get my 145 back minus the copay.

Dr Dave (Williams) will take godd care of you. He also offers a free BCG vaccine that he say's cures everything. I have refused everythime although one of my buddies gave in and took one. Ask him how he gets it into the US the answer he will give you is why I refuse it. Other than that if you can fog the mirror you will leave w/ a medical.

Also Stacy Vereen near the ATL airport is very good. I have seen both sveral times.
