I see there are 4 frequencies listed for ATIS at KSFO. What's up? Departure vs arrivial on both VOR freqs and standard VHF?

Atis:
113.7 115.8 118.85 135.45

All frequencies are created equal at SFO, there isn't a seperate one for departure versus arrival. They just give you more choices, since one sometimes fails. They're usually quite tardy in updating the ATIS too, but that's beside the point.

Flower Power

Maybe it's a San Francisco holdover from the hippie days. Each ATIS offers different weather etc. so everyone can "do their own thing". :p

The first two are VOR's.

113.7 is Point Reyes

115.8 is SFO
