Theres been some buzz about ATI, and was curious if I could get any info on the company. Past threads have been pretty vague. Looking for the regular stuff like how much time on the road and pay. A previous thread said one could live anywhere and they would move you around.
Seems like a pretty good company.

Thanks,

The dude.

Sounds like a nice place, can' find much either.

If you do a search, there was a good bit of ATI info put on here back in January. They put an ad on PlaneJobs and on thier website for FO's and PFE's. Alot of guys were sent apps, but not alot of us got responses for an interview.

They hire very infrequently, infact this last hiring push was the first one in almost 7 years. They love internal reccomendations. And I belive they will only accept resumes when they advertise.

The specifics are:

All DC-8-70 series
Home Basing
Teamsters Contract
2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
Decent pay

Good luck!

If you PM "deese8driver" I belive he is an F/O for them.

I think I read that they fly both pax (military charter I believe) and cargo DC8s. Sounds like an interesting operation. Love to hear about schedules and route variety if there are any ATI people on these boards...

I was furloughed from ATI Jan 01'. If not I would still be there. What was posted earlier seems pretty close but it is a non sched so 2 on 2 off may not always happen. If you are thinking about a non sched flexability should be your new middle name. If you're married make sure your wife knows what you are getting into as well. I was hired by World when I was furloughed and have stayed here since the circumstances fro the furlough pissed me off. I saw it as punishment for the contract nego. I had my first recall 3 weeks after the furloough and the second in about 6 weeks. I had made a committment to world so I stayed. Airline management may have no honor but I refuse to live like that.

Anyways I had a good time at ATI and it was a good group of guys to fly with. Either way good luck.....

Yeah, at the same time. I road on one of their old DC-8s to the desert. Cargo up front and PAX in the back.

Hey MD-11Drvr, careful, your Learjet looks like its starting to roll couple. I keep staring at it thinking one more roll and the increased yaw will cause a departure.
