Crew Staffing just published a new Base/Status Bid. There are openings for 40 737 Captains 
along with openings for 24 737 FOs and 36 757 FOs. It has been indicated that new hires will be placed into approximately 20 of the 757 FO spots. The exact number depends on how the current crewmembers bid. The opening were in all bases (MDW and IND for the 737, MDW, IND, SFO, and LAX for the 757), although I expect the West coast positions to be awarded to current pilots. Classes for all the above wil be in the middle of December, January, and February.
