What are my chances for an interview?

If I can get a recommendation, will I be guaranteed an interview?

And yes, I typed my app.

Keep the faith. I did not have a letter of recomendation nor did I type my app(very well printed). I love my job here at ATA and keep pinching myself just to make sure it is real. While a letter of REC will help not having one will not disqualify you. There is a need for pilots here so as I said before, keep the faith.

Yeah, keep the faith! I'm another real lucky guy who got in without an LOR. It's tough, but possible! I love it here and couldn't be happier. ATA is a great place to work and will hopefully be so for many years to come!

I mailed my resume on June 30th, in a plain envelope.

Received application on July 12th, typed it and mailed out on the 14th. I figure they should get it tomorrow, I sent it priority.

No LoR. Not yet at least.

I am with you reepcheep. I sent my app in Nov. With a lor and no word yet. I even flew to IND and gave Sasha an updated resume in Feb. no word. Must have screwed up somewhere. Oh well, back to selling cars.

I just received the app in the mail today. Mailed my resume off a little less than two weeks ago with a cover letter. Will start hashing through it tonight.
