Looks like there's money in the airline business after all... :)

Astar CEO buys a Key Biscayne modern

A waterfront estate at 730 Harbor Dr. in Key Biscayne has sold for $8.8 million, or $1,318 per square foot. The original list price was $9.2 million. The residence was built in 1967 and has six bedrooms and six bathrooms in 6,676 square feet of living area. The 24,430-square-foot lot has more than 100 feet of direct ocean access.,<...>The new owners are John Dasburg and his wife Mary Lou. John is the chairman, CEO and president of Astar Air Cargo. He was also president of Burger King and president and CEO of Northwest Airlines

Dasburg was CEO of Northwest Airlines in the late 80's and 90's and helped bring them out of bankruptcy (along with the pilots). Then went to Burger King.

What is nuts is when you go to the link and read the crap it basically shows you how ridiculous real estate has gotten. Some of these properties were already a million something and now they are four million something....WTF??? Must be nice to just buy crap for a few mil and then just demolish it. I guess when your government allows corporate executives to rape employees without consequence this is what happens. Executive, rich person, etc. has more money than he/she knows what to do with so he/she buys all the nice real estate around. Next thing you know, ordinary Joe cannot afford waterfront. The middle class gets hosed again.
