I need to know what an assistant chief pilot makes at your respective airlines. Anyone with good intel please post. Thanks.

More than a first officer, but less than a line captain. I think about 40,000/year.

You're kidding right? Who would ever do that?

A long time ago the ACP position paid 100 hours at your respective CA pay rate at PCL. I think it is something that is negotiated now though.

Mostly, they just make people unhappy.

Oh, you meant pay...

Not enough money in the world for me to find out. I'm not management material.

P.S. Considering QX has hired a string of FO ACP's, it's probably a raise for some of them. Plus home every night because they never fly.

At Comair, the chiefs get a 100-hour override.

An assistant chief pilot would get the same, but at his respective FO pay rate.
