ASES Class Rating training in PANC

Anyone,

I am looking forward to a summer vacation up in Anchorage AK. While there, with my family, I wish to add a Single-Engine Sea Class Rating to my Commercial, ASEL license.

Any suggestions for the training at PANC Lake Hood??? I wish to do the training in a 180/185 since I have a lot of experience with the 182 even though I know it will be more $$$.

Always wanted to see that beautiful countryside from several hundred feet vs. FL's. and get the training at the same time.

This may be my last ticket before I retire.

PS. And fly IFR (I follow rivers) up there in the Great White North.

Don't have any info on AK. I did mine at Norcal aviation in Angels Camp, CA. Awesome experience, I highly recommend them. Wherever you go I'm sure you'll have an awesome time!

Angels Camp

Thanks `dowhite2'
Angels Camp may be a good alternate for AK training. Still hoping for training up in AK.
Do they have the C-180/185 at Angels Camp for ASES training?

They've got a 70s model Cessna 150 with a 150hp upgraded engine on EDO floats. 7 hrs course, $1400 including the checkride. Takes 2 to 3 days.
