Does Flex Jet have an ASAP program? Or does the lack of union representation preclude them from establishing one?

Thank you for simply answering the question, PilotGuy.

The reason for the union reference in my question is that I'm familiar with how our particular ASAP program works. The Event Review Committee (ERC) has 3 seats at the table: Union, Management, and the FAA. A filed ASAP report is not automatically accepted as such. I'll leave it for y'all to debate why that 3rd seat could be (vitally) important in determining whether an ASAP report makes the ERC cut.

Our ASAP reporting (as well as fatigue calls) is on the rise. If you asked me for a reason I'd say primarily it is the 10 flight hours in a 14 hour day utilization goal our schedulers are shooting for. If a trip is "reasonably scheduled" for under 10/24, you're expected to fly the trip and exceed 10 flight hours because it is "legal". I've had trips recently with flight plan times a full hour longer than the "scheduled" time on the trip sheet. They're also scheduling more short shows, placing all the pressure on the flight crews to face owners when they're not ready for a departure due to this scheduling pressure.

So, it is good to know we all have ASAP available. I hope y'all are using it. And remember while it is primarily a sharing tool for safety related information while allowing you to CYA (in most cases), it is also a good vehicle to assure your concerns get in front of the FAA. Think of situations where you've wondered if the FAA is fully aware of how the operation is working, where training may be deficient, etc. You can use ASAP to assure they do, from the pilots perspective.
 
Our program is similar. Three seats at the table: FAA, company and a pilot rep. They meet on the first Tuesday of each month and discuss the ASAP reports that have been generated.
 
Going forward, starting this year with two year terms, there will be individuals that are selected by the ASAP coordinator and then approximately five of those individuals will be selected by the pilot group to represent them. I'm not sure how it was done in the past.

So the ASAP coordinator (management) selects a group of pilots and allows the pilots to pick their representatives from among that group?
