Well judging by the perf+ check that is pending to my account we clearly (once again) didn't make the +1% profit margin. Looking ahead to this quarters performance, it will be even less than last quarter when we miss it again then. $163 is kind of a joke (CR7 Capt).

Sure I'll take the $, but I remember when mgm't tried to say they couldn't give us a pay raise in 07, but that the new "quarterly bonus system" that we were about to get would more than make up for the growth killing pay raise they couldn't afford to give us. Combine this, with the crappy schedules, reserve abuse and seeming lack of disregard for employee moral here and things seem to be headed in a bad direction.

Don't forget the...

*Loss of stock grants
*"Enhancement" of stock purchase program to make it worthless
*Erosion of travel benefits (S3-S3C) which now cost 4x's what they used to
*Scheduling efficiencies which equal more work for less pay
*Huge Health Care cost increases in order to try and make make you buy the High Deductible Plan
*Chief pilot intimidation over fatigue, sick calls
*Contract reinterpretations...screw you grieve it
*Involuntary TDY's
*Displacements

Let me tell you...this Brad Holt is such a great manager! "Thanks for all you do"

But no worries! The Joey and 777 units will be along shortly to inform us that we're all just whiners and remind us how privileged we are to work for such a wonderful organization.

We just don't know how good we have it-we could be in Tripoli!

-"Thanks for all you do, indeed!"

And how exactly do you figure this when the earnings call is not until WEDNESDAY? Unless you have insider information from Skywest Inc, you won't know until then what the profit (or no profit) margin is.

My understanding is.... Until that time the money shown in Perf + does not include the financial performance segment of what you will get. After the profit margin percentage is released on Wednesday, multiply that by your gross earnings for the quarter, then add it to the Perf + amount.

You can check the actual paycheck amount that you'll get on Wednesday by going to My Records. My check is $275, the same as for Q4 2010, so the ASA profit margin is less than 1%.

177.00 for me that sucks, so much for: "Thanks for all you do out there" what a JOKE!

This is only he operational side of the reward program. My prediction is we'll get another check later. I guess it is possible with the rate cut and merger costs that we didn't make 1%....

The last PP check I got had no withholdings...it was just $275.00 even, in a check I picked up in the CPO.

How did they withhold $100 from a $275 check!!? That's over 1/3!!

It's "bonus" money. Uncle Sam (and the Chinese) get a bigger chunk of it than your normal pay. Oh...and ALPA gets their 2% as well.

What the hell is wrong with you people? Last time I checked $177 is better than $0. If you don't want your bonus money pm me I'll take it.

It's called paying your 'fair' share, welcome to adulthood.

What´s wrong is that we were sold profit sharing in lieu of a higher hourly rate. After seeing our first profit sharing checks, I thought, well all right, an extra $400.00 dollars after taxes once a quarter may be worth it. Now... nope, I´d rather get paid a bit more per hour and not get a bonus, which will get reflected on every paycheck and not taxed as much as profit sharing.

If the taxes are a big deal, just change your exemptions to 99 for one week. I have been doing it for years. Then hardly anything gets taken off the "bonus" check.
