Don't freak out people, this just an observation!

According to our illustrious VP Bedson, ASA flies 4% of the ASM of DAL.
So if DAL needs a 30% paycut, then I assume ASA will have to take a 1.2%
paycut (30% x 4%). For a 4 year FO as myself, that equates to about
$0.43/hr. I'm sure my sacrifice will save DAL, so sign me up! :)

Now that's pure sarcasm for your challenged readers out there!

Dude are you on crack!!! They will ask and get more then .43$... Get ready!!

Bedson, now there is a fine upstanding individual, not.

What a POS he is!

You have to wonder how someone can look in the mirror everyday.

Math Time (Funny only)

$.43 times 80 hour line times 12 months= $412 bucks out of your pocket.

How does this really apply to you?

Can of Tuna = $1.20 (the good kind!) times twice a day (lunch and dinner)= $2.40

$2.40 times four days of flying= $9.60 a trip times four (a month of flying)= $38.40 a month for food. Times 12 months =$460.80......

Your negative $48.80 or (about a week and two days of tuna!!!!! Ouch !!!!!)

DAL vs. Tuna --- The debate begins!!!!!

Just a funny thought about a few nickles and dimes and how every penny matters as a pilot.

Did I miss something? When did we get ask to take paycuts?
We haven't had a raise in nearly two years. Inflation is running about 4% a year. We are already taking a cut every day that the we have no CBA.

$0.43

Let's see, $0.43 per pilot X 80 hours/month X 12 months = approx $412

We have what, 1700 pilots?

1700 X $412 = $700,400

Hmmmm........

Notice how that is very close to the pay you CEO got, hmmmm?

Pay cut mmmmmmmmhhhhhh.....

About the pay cut, I think it could be the right thing to do to save your job, but if you drop your pants once, they are going to ask you to do it the rest of your life.
So you have to do a balance. But How about saving money to the company being more fuel efficient? 2$ and change per gallon of fuel. Save a gallon per hour, and thats better than 0.43$ out of our pockets!

No pay cuts happening here. Skip assured us of that today. He did say that IF delta goes bankrupt, and IF they bring us with them (50/50 chance) ,thats when we MIGHT see a pay concession order from a bankruptcy court.

Oh and he got quite a laugh from his 700K bonus rumor. He didnt get it.
