Description: Atlantic Southeast Airlines is a wholly owned subsidiary of SkyWest Inc. and a leading member of the Delta Connection program. Under the SkyWest, Inc. umbrella, ASA and SkyWest Airlines form the world?s largest regional airline alliance. ASA began operations on June 27, 1979, with one 19-passenger Twin Otter aircraft
serving Atlanta to Columbus, Ga. It has operated as a Delta Connection carrier since 1984.
We are interested in hiring both great pilots and great employees. Our pilots' number one priority is to conduct each flight safely with due consideration to passenger comfort and on-time performance. ASA pilots are based at our Atlanta hub and fly Delta Connection and SkyTeam codeshare flights.
Minimum Requirements:
1200 hours total time
200 hours multi-engine time
100 hours within the last six months
Current FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate
FCC radio license
Be at least 21 years of age
ATP Written Completed
Successfully pass a drug screen analysis
Legally authorized to work in the United States and have a valid
passport
Required to undergo a criminal history records check through an
FBI based fingerprint system
Extensive background and reference check
Valid Drivers License
College preferred, minimum high school diploma
Reduced Minimums for a select few with Advanced Jet Training:
600 hours total time
100 hours multi-engine time
Advanced Jet Training includes:
Level C/D Jet Simulator
Level 5/6 Jet FTD
FMS Training
Glass Cockpit
Crew Resource Management (CRM) Training
Licenses: Commercial Instrument
Multi-engine (not restricted to centerline thrust) CFI, CFII, MEI and ATP preferred
Selection Process
Our selection process begins with the submission of a resume. Competitive applicants are those who are currently employed with at least 100 hours of flight time within the last six months and who have a background that would enable them to complete CRJ training in eight simulator sessions.
Commercial, MEL fixed-wing, and instrument experience are required. We are looking for candidates with 121 experience. However, candidates without 121 experience will be considered, especially if they have advanced aircraft training and/or experience. Multi-engine helicopter time counts as total time after a 100 hour MEL fixed-wing requirement, with a fixed-wing ME ATP preferred.
