the Q could probably work now. Parking was an issue in the old days there since you guys didn't have access to jetways...now it could use one.

BUT, the Q has some big ole motors on it. Twice the size of the -72. I believe the Q400 has 5000 SHP per side where the ATR-72 is 5000 SHP total

Yes, I saw one also. Word is they bought it to use for the town hall meetings at the outstations instead of taking a 70 off line.

According to Woody and Barbour, someone in recurrent wrote that on the boxes to be a wise arse and start the rumor. Which seems to have worked.
