I takes longer then a month to get a FAA approved training program and evacuation test! It tooK SkyWest over 4 months! Good luck with DEC 1

Dec.1st ASA will start flying I would guess 15-20 CRJ-900...

He didn't say 1 Dec of this year....

Nah, I don't think it'll happen in '07, but the 900 rumor has circulated even over to the prop side of the house.

Current logic holds that we can't staff properly for the a/c we have now, how could we absorb more?

Much more likely, IMHO, would be a reduction in 200 flying and airplanes that corresponds with an increase in 900 flying.

so would an FO with low seniority currently on the 200 still be better off staying there than bidding 700/900? (in terms of schedule) Guessing 200 guys are going to start jumping over to fly something bigger/shinier? But will 200 lines decrease? are any 200s going to SkyW?

ASA has had a program for a while now. Remember those 900s you got? Yeah... they were slotted to go to ASA first.

Difference what 3 days and no sim. The 700 and 900 are the same!

If that much...at Comair it is 1 day (and shouldn't even be that much) of differences and no sim (most of the differences is spent on aerodata, which I think ASA already uses)

Ok Joe Anduze went to YUL today for difference and then taking it to CVG for the mx guys there to do Mx. Certf. on it=what I heard.

You sure you're not confusing it with the -700s getting first class?

I heard they were being transferred from B concourse. Thank goodness those guys don't have a real union.

I just finished diff tng on the 70 tonight. No one said anything about the 900s, all they said was that there is a closet full of 900 manuals at the GO that have about a year of dust growing on them. 700s to get 1st class seat installed in 08 only, by SH....

I heard today that the forward crapper is coming out with this first class thing. Say it isn't so...
