Question for you ASA pilots. I just recieved my "you're hired" letter. No class date yet, but that's okay. Just wondering what the time frame looks like to be based in SLC. I understand it went fairly senior for both Capt and FO. I live a lot closer to SLC than ATL and would prefer SLC. So if anyone could give me some info as to the time frame of being able to hold SLC and any other factors, I would appreciate it. Thanks

you are looking for SLC....HAH!!
Good laugh!!
Sorry.
Right now I don' think anyone has an idea on when a new hire could get SLC.
I my guess would be 2 years.
SLC base is going VERY senior (First officers need a senority number of 1300 or better, and there are almost 1700 pilots)
Plus, when there are openings, senority always rules.
