Can anyone point me in the direction of opportunities to fly army shorts. I am currently in a Infantry platoon leader slot. I am typed in the Saab 340 and am currently transitioning to the CRJ 200. I have RJ 85 experience and pleanty of time in service (that translates to "i am old" !! ) drop me a line if you are in the know. Thanks

Hi!

go to aptap.org
http://aptap.forumco.com/default.asp

It is a site for military aviators.

They just posted a job for Shorts drivers in theatres.

I think it's the standard $30K/month. Most guys in theatre as civvies to 2 months on/1 off.

I think I very recently saw an opening for C-23 for Georgia Army National Guard posted.

yeah I am not looking to do civilian contract work, I do not think my airline or the MN National Guard would give me time off for that, although the money looks pretty good. I am more looking for info on how to get into one of those units.

thanks
