Could someone point me to the official FAA definitions and differences between Category IIIA, IIIB, and IIIC approaches. There seems to be some differences in the last two airlines I've flown for and I'm wondering if it is a difference between op specs, or just a mis-understanding. Thanks

This is all I got...hope it helps.

If you're referring to certification for flying the Cat III approaches, it's 61.68

AIM 1-1-9 i. ILS Minimums

c) Category IIIa No DH or DH below 100 feet and RVR not less than 700 feet
d) Category IIIb No DH or DH below 50 feet and RVR less than 700 feet but not less than 150 feet
e) Category IIIc No DH and no RVR limitation
